Southern Oregon
Monthly Marketing Update- May 2024

April was an incredibly busy month for our team as we crossed the country: Washington DC to support Alzheimer’s Advocacy with Congressional meetings, Nashville for the National Case Management Conference, ongoing CEU events in multiple cities, ACCESS Senior Fair, the Adult Care Home Conference - all in addition to our regular commitments. WHEW! I am so grateful to work with such a talented and committed team.

The new edition is hot off the press and we will be distributing copies to every physician's office, library, senior center, DHS office, and hospital in Southern Oregon! Please let us know if you need more guides and how many you would like. We are honored once again to be the official resource guide for the Alzheimer's Association, Asante Hospitals, Mercy Hospital, and the Rogue Valley Council of Governments.

We hope you will be able to join us for our upcoming events! May 16th is our annual release party at RoxyAnn Winery 3:30-5:30, this is the biggest networking event of the year. Make sure to add it to your calendars and help spread the word to your referral sources. In addition, we will be hosting our Roseburg Happy Hour on Thursday, May 23rd at 4pm out on the patio of McMenamins Roseburg Station Pub. This event will be in place of the May Douglas County meeting.

Also, we are coordinating our first Resource Fair for the Case Management team at Mercy Hospital in Roseburg on May 23rd; and priority registration will be sent to our sponsors this week. As a reminder- Retirement Connection is the most comprehensive resource for seniors in our community, and we are the official resource for Asante Hospitals, Mercy Hospital, the Alzheimer’s Association, and several Area Agencies on Aging. If you want to reach seniors, this is the preferred guide. Additionally, beyond print, we have 2 websites that search very well on Google, and host many networking opportunities throughout the year. Our logo's 3 “dots” represent the guide, websites, and network.

Nugget Of Knowledge
"Work hard, play hard"

Finding work-life balance can be a challenge. I find the best balance comes from really enjoying the work you do, being proud of your efforts, and having strong relationships with your team. If you can find this, it doesn’t seem like work. My work family makes every day better, from our team camping trips to strategic planning.
