Mid-Willamette Valley Monthly Marketing Update - November 2020
The newest edition of Retirement Connection is out and last week we enjoyed a beautiful sunny day at our “tailgate”. Although we could not host our annual Release Party, it was so so so very nice to see people IN PERSON. It was very hard for me to control myself and not hug everyone. In the virtual world that has become the norm, we had three new sponsors that I had never met in person until last week: we only had a virtual connection until then- so that was extra special.
As you plan your marketing budget for 2021, please make sure that Retirement Connection and CareAvailability.com are included in your plans. We are in the midst of our “early bird 10% discount” if you would like to save a bit! You only need to reserve your ad size, and the payments and ad copy are not due until next year. Retirement Connection remains the primary resources in the community and more families log on to CareAvailability.com each day to connect with providers. If you
have not search recently- take a look and make sure to visit those providers with photos to view their profiles. Join us at the Transitions of care meeting tomorrow at 10am to hear for yourselves how case managers use this resource for their patients as well.
Tomorrow is election day, and no matter who “wins"- I hope we find ourselves moving forward as positive as possible. Just because some of us disagree, we do not need to be disagreeable. No matter who our elected officials are, there is still so much that we have control over in providing care and services to our seniors and with our own families. Don’t be discouraged by the negativity- look for the helpers!

Additional Resources
There are so many resources included in Retirement Connection, that often a few may slip past you and may not be noticed. Did you know that the guide also includes:
“You can disagree without being disagreeable.” - Ruth Bader Ginsburg
With the
election results looming, this seemed like a fitting reminder for all of us. We do not need to agree, we don’t even need to debate, but we should try for a bit more civility. I don’t agree with most of my family on political issues, but that does not mean that I don't love them. We can still value the person, and dissent with an opinion.
