Monthly Marketing Update- April 2025

At Retirement Connection, we are committed to being both a leader and a catalyst in the communities we serve. One of our core values is volunteerism, and last month, our entire team played a role in the record-breaking success of the Alzheimer’s Association's Memories in the Making Gala, which raised an incredible $370,000! I had the honor of serving as Event Chair, Erin is on the planning committee, and every team member volunteered and donated to the cause. Advertising is what we have to do—but it enables everything we get to do. This is just one example.

The Retirement Connection Guide is a trusted community resource made possible by the generous support of our advertisers. A heartfelt thank you to those who share the guides with their clients and to the many advertisers who have already secured their 2026 ad space by taking advantage of the early bird discount.

Our sponsors make it all possible—coordinating hospital case management events, supporting nonprofits, fostering networking opportunities, and more. Please support them whenever possible, and let them know you found them in Retirement Connection.

Nugget Of Knowledge

"But more importantly, I have a rule: no complaining about a situation unless you're prepared to do something to make it better. If you see a problem and you don't come to the table with a potential solution, I don't want to hear your whining about how bad it is. It couldn't be that bad if it hasn't motivated you to try and fix it." ~ Arnold Schwarzenneger

Every challenge we face is an opportunity to step up, not just speak up. It’s easy to point out problems, but real leadership comes from those willing to take action. Instead of dwelling on what’s wrong, focus on what can be done to make it better. Whether big or small, every solution starts with someone deciding to make a difference. So the next time you catch yourself frustrated by a situation, ask yourself—what can I do to help fix it? Progress starts with action, not complaints.
