Mid-Willamette Valley
Monthly Marketing Update- May 2024

April was an incredibly busy month for our team as we crossed the country: Washington DC to support Alzheimer’s Advocacy with Congressional meetings, Nashville for the National Case Management Conference, ongoing CEU events in multiple cities, Adult Care Home Conference in Oregon, our Puget Sound Release Party - all in addition to our regular commitments. WHEW! I am so grateful to work with such a talented and committed team.

You asked and we listened… At the happy hour we hosted last month, our sponsors asked us to bring back the Release Party when the new edition comes out in October. So please save the date now for October 23rd at Willamette Heritage Museum.  I am honored that 50% of our existing sponsors have already reserved their ad space for the next edition. This may seem early, but it is a great way to secure better placement in the guide and ensure Retirement Connection is part of your 2025 marketing budget.

As a reminder, Retirement Connection is the most comprehensive resource for seniors in our community, and we are the official resource for Legacy Hospitals, the Alzheimer’s Association, and several Area Agencies on Aging. If you want to reach seniors, this is the preferred guide. Additionally, beyond print, we have 2 websites that search very well on Google, and host many networking opportunities throughout the year, including the Monthly Senior Service Network meeting. Our logo's 3 “dots” represent the guide, websites, and network.

Nugget Of Knowledge

"Work hard, play hard"

Finding work-life balance can be a challenge. I find the best balance comes from really enjoying the work you do, being proud of your efforts, and having strong relationships with your team. If you can find this, it doesn’t seem like work. My work family makes every day better, from our team camping trips to strategic planning.
