Portland/VancouverMonthly Marketing Update- November 2024
Our team recently discussed “what are the things we GET to do” because of our jobs (the things we care about beyond our job description). Essentially our team sells advertising- this is what we must do to generate revenue. But the parts of our job where we find joy and contribute value to the community are much greater. We love the time we GET to advocate for improved legislation on senior issues on local and federal levels, our team creates and supports fundraising events to raise more than $250k for nonprofits last year, answers our phone line with a live person to help families answer questions and locate services, connect providers in the community and introduce new people, and facilitate opportunities
to elevate the senior industry as a whole with improved communication. We are more than a book of advertisers. Our vision is to be a leader or a catalyst in the communities we serve and provide value to both providers and seniors- advertising is just a means to fund this work. Our team is passionate and grateful for the chance to make a difference when possible.
We are in the final 2 weeks of wrapping up ad space for the next annual guide. All ad approvals have been sent, we are calling to confirm all comparison grid details, and phoning all listings in the guide to make necessary edits. If you know of any changes,
please let us know asap. We also appreciate any referrals to help us grow the guide and you; I'd love to include a few more sponsors. Save the date for the Release Party on January 29th to celebrate.

Providers, take a chance to check out your new and improved Dashboard! Posting availability and editing information has never been easier. Our web team has been hard at work making the behind-the-scenes operate more smoothly – the look has changed slightly but the functions are very similar. Let us know if you have any feedback!
Reach out to support@careavailability.com if you have any questions about optimizing your listing.

"Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value." - Albert Einstein
Success is an accomplishment. Often, it is measured in revenue, status, or other measures. "Value is the worth or importance of something", and it is difficult to quantify objectively. Sometimes, we provide value just by listening and showing compassion, supporting the growth of others, or advocating for an important cause. If we aim to bring value, success will come.
