Portland/VancouverMonthly Marketing Update- March 2023
Our team was together last week for our annual strategic planning. We are excited about some new ways we integrate technology into the daily tasks of Retirement Connection. Here are just a few examples from the past month…
-We have added a map feature to our website, so families can look for the closest place to pick up a print Retirement Connection Guide.
-We have added a contact email for all claimed listings on CareAvailability.com for families to submit an inquiry form directly to providers when looking for services.
-Our digital articles have seen increased traffic on google.
-We are adding videos to our resource library to help families better navigate the care continuum.
This year we are excited to bring more digital advances to our sponsors.
My favorite moments of the past month have been the phone calls from families to get an updated copy of Retirement Connection for Portland/Vancouver. It has been heartwarming to know that we are making a difference and bringing value to our community. We have already distributed more than 4 pallets of guides this year.
Reminder: Our team will NO LONGER host a Release Party. We are hosting “A Taste of the Derby” exclusively for our
sponsors and community partners. Our sponsors should start looking for their derby hats now and plan to join us on the morning of May 6th for remote viewing of the Kentucky Derby and wine tasting at The Four Graces Winery.

"Difficulties are meant to rouse, not discourage. The human spirit is to grow strong by conflict." ~ William Ellery Channing
When we push ourselves into uncomfortable situations, that is when we grow the most. Although tough conversations can be taxing at the moment, hopefully, the result is increased knowledge and understanding of the other person’s view and needs. If we never lean into more challenging conversations or tasks, we can’t improve the status quo.
