Mid-Willamette Valley
Monthly Marketing Update- October 2022

The new Mid-Willamette Valley Edition of Retirement Connection is hot off the press and our team has started distributing the new guide! All of our sponsors will receive one full box of the new guides. In addition, all hospitals, libraries, area agencies on aging, senior centers, and meals on wheels locations should be stocked up. Please let us know if you are in need of any additional guides, they're free! Make sure you put a label on the front cover with your logo saying "Compliments of" when you hand them out.

We will NOT be having a Release Party this year. Instead, we are taking the opportunity to host quarterly events for sponsors starting with the breakfast on October 14th and a Kentucky Derby Party in the spring. Sponsors, please make sure to RSVP for the October 14th event.

National Case Management Week is coming up October 9th - 14th!
To celebrate Case Management Week, Retirement Connection is working with numerous hospitals in Oregon and Washington to organize care packages/goody bags for case management staff. We will be providing goody bags to over 1,000 case managers at 50 hospitals from Everett, WA to Medford, OR. In addition, we have also coordinated boxed lunches for Case Managers at 35 hospitals to kick off the week. Links to sign up and more details are available on our website.

Last but not least, please join us tomorrow on zoom for our Transitions of Care meeting!

1) We are excited to see our continued SEO efforts increase our organic search to more than 50% of our site traffic in September. That means more families are finding our site by searching things like "Assisted Living near me" or "Care options that come to my home" and more!
2) In September, CareAvailability.com met a new milestone. We now have active site visitors in ALL 50 states. Posting your availability is not only helping those in your local communities find care options, but it is also helping families plan for out-of-state relatives and relocation!

3) Our most popular articles clicked on last month were;

  • Senior Housing & Touring Communities

  • Dementia, Alzheimer’s Disease, and Early Warning Signs

  • Why Care Availability Is The Best Option To Find Senior Care

  • Navigating Senior Housing Options

  • Power of Attorney, Wills, & Estate Planning

"Some talk to you in their free time, and some free time to talk to you.” — Unknown

I’m busy, you’re busy, we are all busy! I hear about “time management” strategies all the time, but we all have 24 hours in the day- no more no less. So, we really are not managing “time”. But we can manage our priorities. We can make people our priority. I want to be the person who makes time for others, and I want to surround myself with those that make time for me.
