Monthly Marketing Update- February 2022

My favorite moments of the past month have been the phone calls with individual seniors calling to get an updated copy of Retirement Connection for Portland/Vancouver. It has been so very heartwarming to know that we are making a difference and bringing value to our community. We have distributed more than 3 pallets of guides in January.

Our team will NOT be hosting a Release Party this year, for a few reasons. We don't feel it is responsible for us to hold an indoor event for the 300+ providers/referral sources that usually attend. We also want to do something special for our sponsors who make our work possible. So this year, we are hosting “A Taste of the Derby” exclusively for our sponsors. Our sponsors should start looking for their derby hats now and plan to join us on the morning of May 7th for remote viewing of the Kentucky Derby and wine tasting at The Four Graces Winery.

Hopefully you saw our post on Facebook last week as welcomed the newest member of our team, Elizabeth Hansen. Both Retirement Connection and CareAvailability.com continue to thrive and we needed a bit more support to keep up. With the new site launch of CareAvailability.com, our analytics have exploded-YAY!!!!! Those details are shared below

Lots of exciting things to share about Care Availability! Be mindful that this is not even a full month captured from the new site. However, we wanted to share analytics to show how the new site is working!

- 54% increase in new users finding the site!
- Pageviews up 227% - that's a 40,000 increase in pageviews from just a month ago. Speaking to the ease of use for families to navigate around the various options.
- Profile visits up a whopping 7,295%
-Search results have quadrupled. Families are finding it easier to search the site and their searches are converting to a profile visit 25% of the time

Nugget Of Knowledge

“There is a crack in everything. That's how the light gets in.” - Leonard Cohen

I am not comfortable showing vulnerability, no one really is. When I am more transparent with my struggles, I am grateful for the support received. More importantly-it helps others feel less alone in their struggles, and they see a more authentic version of me. So don’t cover all the cracks, let the light come in.
